"Guardian Angel"
Over the last few years, I sojourned to a world of figurative studies & oil sketches. This journey became my foundation to this progressive "angels" series, exploring the relationships of guardians in our world.

"The Rose that Grew from Concrete"
My artistic style is realistic symbolism; somewhat surreal in its symbolism, but my work is more about concept and subject than style. From growing up in Jamaica nature, poverty, and struggle became the main subject matters of my artwork.

"Devotion in Pink"
Meditation, dreams, and spirituality are the primary elements of my work. In my lifetime, meditation has allowed me to harness external energies. My faith in humanity and inspiration from my dreams has guided my art into expressions of hope for preserving nature and protecting the environment.

As a communicator, part of the Latino community in the Northwest, showing also my heritage through my paintings, I believe and share the world's necessity of compassion, love and environmental defense. Speaking softly through my art, gentle and strong as a woman, it is my goal  to be part of a collective conscience that we as a world be better served by focusing on peace as opposed to war, love as opposed to hate and acceptance as opposed to fear.
